"Whoever corrects a mocker invites insults;

    whoever rebukes the wicked incurs abuse.
Do not rebuke mockers or they will hate you;

Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still;
    teach the righteous and they will add to their learning.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
    and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
For through wisdom your days will be many,
    and years will be added to your life.
If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you;

    if you are a mocker, you alone will suffer."

Bible Quote Oct 24th Galatians 6:2

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2

This is a law or doctrine which Christ has clearly taught, and recovered from the false glosses of the Pharisees; it is his new commandment, which he has strengthened and enforced by his own example in dying for his people, and which he, by his Spirit, inscribes upon their hearts. The Jews speak of the law of the Messiah as preferable to any other.

Bible Quote Oct 21st Psalm 51:12

“Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.” Psalm 51:12

This Psalm is a model of repentance, after David has been rebuked by Nathan over Bathsheba.

Psalm 37 is a Hebrew acrostic. Written by David when he was old.

"I have seen a wicked and ruthless man

    flourishing like a luxuriant native tree,
but he soon passed away and was no more;
    though I looked for him, he could not be found.

Consider the blameless, observe the upright;
    a future awaits those who seek peace.
But all sinners will be destroyed;
    there will be no future for the wicked.

The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord;
    he is their stronghold in time of trouble.
The Lord helps them and delivers them;

Bible Quote Oct 19th Psalm 27:14

“Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.” Psalm 27:14

David, in his earlier days, before his kingship. Before David has taken the Ark to Jerusalem. This is a psalm of praise from David to the Lord. It seems to couple with Psalm 26. Some modern scholars attribute it to two authors. 

"The Lord is my light and my salvation—

    whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—
    of whom shall I be afraid?

When the wicked advance against me
    to devour me,
it is my enemies and my foes
    who will stumble and fall.
Though an army besiege me,
    my heart will not fear;
though war break out against me,
