Proverbs were almost left out of the Christian Bible because some of them oppose each other. Wisdom is like that. Wikipedia has a theory regarding Proverbs that pre exilic ones differ from post exilic ones. The underlying belief being that Greek Philosophy had influenced Jewish thought so that God became part of creation after wisdom. Who writes that stuff?
