Bible Quote Jan 24th James 1:5

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” -James 1:5

Wisdom seems to be something that only others have. We have excuses, they have wisdom. Every choice you make is your choice, and if you are rational about it then you know why you chose it. Wisdom is deeper. And it is a mystery to those without it. The cult of nature worship has it that only experience makes good choices. Which suggests that everyone needs to make mistakes so that they can later make good choices. But that is not true.

It isn’t obvious to non believers, but wisdom comes from serving God. If you make choices that are self serving then your decision making is obvious, as are your failures. But you cannot fail in serving God, in making choices based on what God wants, not necessarily what you want. But don’t make the mistake in thinking you serve God by deciding what God wants. You have to walk with God and talk with Him if you want to serve Him.

God has given you His word so you might serve Him. And so you can ask Him what it is you are choosing to do. And serve Him. Ask God for wisdom.
