=== Deuteronomy is one of the Moses written books. This particular reference is from when events at Mt Horeb are recalled and Moses has been given the ten commandments. Moses exhorts his people to remember God, urging obedience.
We fall short of the commands God has given us. But in holding onto Him, he holds onto us. He is faithful. And able. He gives life and hope. He provides a way when none can be seen.
God has authority. The world may work as it will, but God can change it. You can pray to God and He will answer through the Holy Spirit. Some say He does not answer prayer, but that blind luck sometimes does. How faithful are those that worship luck? Yet I tell you that if you pray, God will answer your prayer. Try it and see. And note, talk to God in your prayers. He is the good father. Not to be trifled with with lustful thoughts of the heart. He does not give you what you want. He gives you what you need.
